In continuation of this office letter No. 451/CAO/VI/Fund dated 16.5.69, I have to inform you that you will maintain with your bankers two accounts namely (i) U.P. state Electricity Board Branch Receipt A/C and (ii) U.P State Electricity Board-Branch Expenditure Account.

In Branch Receipt Account all receipt from consumers towards consumption charges, security deposits and other moneys will be credited. Cash and cheque will be entered separately in the pay-in-slips provided to you by the Bank.
