I am directed to say that for some time past the question relating to interchangeability of Sub-station Operator/Switch Board Operator/Meter Reader & Junior Meter Tester and Repairer have been receiving attention of the Board which is being actively considered. Pending final decision into this case, the Board are pleased to order that with immediate effect; interchangeability of incumbents posted as S.S.O./S.B.O./M.R. & J.M.T. & R ordered in B.O. No. 899-NG/SEB-IV-154 NG/73 dated march 24, 1977 should not be restored till further orders.
